PACIFIC PRINCESS has nine passenger decks, beginning at the top with Deck 11 and continuing down to Deck 3. In what is now a standard passenger ship design trait, the majority of her accommodation is located above the public rooms, enabling the incorporation of more verandahs.

Deck 11 offers views forward and to either side via tinted glass screens. The forward expanse stretches the width of the ship, continuing aft on either side of a long, narrow midships deckhouse that supports the raked radio mast. A sea of turquoise astroturf sunning space is broken up on the port side with a shuffleboard court and on the starboard side with a golf practice cage.

From the aft portion of forward Deck 11, there is a fine view over the midships lido toward the funnel. The glassed in area at the base of the funnel is the handsome Library, which leads further aft to the ala carte restaurants.

Deck 10 begins forward with the handsome 190 seat Nightclub, offering views from three sides via floor-to-ceiling windows. This space was completely reconfigured by Princess from the R THREE's Sports Bar and its decidedly POSH stylings. Gone are McNeece's plaid carpets, polished wood furniture, dark paneling, and enclosed midships proscenium. Princess expanded the center dancefloor, dispensed with the television monitors, and "tropicalized" the look with leaf-patterned balustrades, and wicker, amidst a coral and turquoise pallette.

Deck 10 continues with the forward stairtower vestibule and the open air Fitness Track, a 1/8 mile loop overlooking the midships lido that can be used by walkers and joggers, alike.

Aft of the pool, the U-shaped 37 seat Library is one of the ship's most inviting spaces. Retaining its original McNeece decor with dark paneling, faux fireplace, and rich floral patterns, it hearkens back to the early twentieth century when ocean liners emulated fine English country manors. The domed, frescoed skylight, glass cabinets, and wingback leather chairs complete an idyllic picture.

The aft stairtower vestibule follows, leading to the 90 seat Sabatini's Trattoria on the port side and the 92 seat Sterling Steakhouse Grill on the starboard side.

Sabatini's is an extra tarriff Princess fixture, offering an array of Italian seafood specialties and extra fine service. The L-shaped room stretches aft around the funnel casing and its own private galley to a small terrace overlooking the stern. The decor is Romanesque with eggshell pillars and bas reliefs offset by richly upholstered blue and off-white chairs and matching carpeting.

Sterling's Steakhouse is named for Lord Sterling of parent company P&O fame, and occupies the exact corresponding space on the starboard side. Its decidedly masculine decor features dark paneling with emerald, beige, and brown upholstery. Here, special cuts of beef and side dishes are served to emulate the best in shoreside steakhouse traditions.
