Owners: Norwegian Cruise Lines

Top, the Art Gallery, facing forward. Above, the Photo Gallery facing forward.

Deck 7 continues aft via a starboard passage, leading to the midships vestibule, followed by the Crystal Atrium, including the Java Cafe and the ship's reception area. On the port side, there is the Art Gallery and Internet Cafe bordering its outer flanks. On the starboard side, there is the Manhattan-themed Photo Gallery. Both galleries lead to the aft vestibule and the grand descent to the Summer Palace Restaurant.

Top, the Bliss Ultra Lounge, facing forward. Above, the forward port corner of Bliss Ultra. No spills, please!

On aft Deck 7, NCL's breakthrough dual-purpose Bliss Ultra offer's the company's first shipboard bowling lanes amidst a unique, velvety boudoir-style setting. By day, the 176-capacity room serves as a Sports Bar with multiple flat screen televisions that broadcast various sporting events. At night, it is a nightclub with a large dance floor and modern gothic alcoves with king-sized beds and deep velvet soft fittings by the acre. Interestingly, bed-themed seating is also utlized in the ship's poolside cabanas.

The Barcelona Meeting Room, facing aft.

Deck 6 begins at the Stardust Theater's middle level, continuing aft on the port side via a passageway linking a trio of meeting rooms that accommodate 60 (Vienna, Prague, and Barcelona, respectively). On the starboad side, a passage leads aft to the forward vestibule.

The Casino, facing aft.

The rather flashy 360-capacity Casino follows, with its own bar and an assortment of slot machines and gaming facilities.

From top to bottom: Corona Cigar Club, facing port; the forward portion of Magnum's lobby area showing one of the NORMANDIE/Jean Dupas-inspired panels; the grand staircase with its NORMANDIE-inspired fixture and Jean Dupas style panel; Magnum's Bar facade with its fiber optic-backed Champagne bubbles; Shakers Martini Bar, facing aft; Shakers Martini Bar, facing forward; Maltings, facing forward; Le Bistro, facing aft.

Following the starboard Deck 6 passage aft, we encounter the lower level of the Bar Central foyer, with its attractive Deco seating and NORMANDIE/Jean Dupas-inspired panels. Bar Central is divided into three specialty bars along the starboard side, beginning with the backlit Champagne bubble-fronted Magnum's Champagne and Wine Bar, accommodating 71. Shakers Martini and Cocktail Bar combines James Bond and Art Deco imagery and accommodates 46. Farthest aft, the Maltings Beer and Whiskey Bar takes its decorative cues from famous whiskey adverts of the world and accommodates 45. Cocooned in the forward port corner is the 12 seat Corona Cigar Club. And, on the port side at the base of the grand staircase, we find the 129 seat extra tarrif ($10) French dining venue, Le Bistro, where earthy Art Nouveau styling is de rigeur.

Top, the Indigo Restaurant, facing port/forward. Above, facing aft in the main seating section.

My favorite space on the PEARL is the L-shaped, 304 seat Indigo Restaurant, which begins with a wing on the port side aft of Le Bistro adjoining an athwartships main section. The deep blues and violet are offset by bands of bold orange, provocative backlit glass art panels of American iconography, and angular wooden seating.

The Summer Palace Restaurant, facing forward.

Although it is accessed from the aft Deck 7 vestibule, the 558 Summer Palace Restaurant is located on aft Deck 6. It features extra ceiling height and opulent Neo Classical Russian palace-themed decor.

Deck 5 begins with the lowest level of the Stardust Theater and continues with accommodation on either side. Deck 4 has passenger accommodation on the port side and the ship's medical center, which is accessed via the midships vestibule.
